Details
A flared skirt printed end to end in a patchwork of small blocks — ochre and gold, teal, deep navy and cream — each block carrying its own little floral or geometric figure, so the whole skirt reads as dozens of fabrics at once. A plain purple band closes the hem. The choli is cut from the same print, with short sleeves. The dupatta is different again: deep navy and purple, printed in horizontal bands of flowers and figures, finished with an ivory lace edge.
More pattern than any one outfit has a right to, and somehow it all settles.
