Details
A deep plum skirt, dotted all over with tiny gold flecks and left plain until the hem, where bands of gold zari and plum stack one above another in a border several inches deep. The choli is the same plum, its bust and shoulders worked in a panel of Kutch-style embroidery in orange, green and pink around small mirrors, and finished with a fringe of white shells.
Rich, deep colour with the detail kept to the top and the bottom.
