Details
A deep navy skirt in gathered tiers, each seam marked by a narrow line of gold gota, so the gold rings the skirt four times as it opens. The choli is navy with a bright diamond of Kutch-style embroidery across the bust. Over it goes a navy jacket, its lapels, cuffs and hem worked in dense bands of red, green, orange and white embroidery set with small mirrors.
The jacket does all the talking. Take it off and you have a plain navy lehenga for the rest of the night.
