Details
Panels of purple, mustard print, green and patterned black run down the skirt, the purple ones carrying large round medallions embroidered in orange and blue around clustered mirrors. Near the hem the skirt changes entirely: a band of bandhani colour blocks — blue, green, mustard, pink, royal blue — then gold gota, then a deep border worked solid in mirrors and bright embroidery. The choli is embroidered all over and hung with coloured pom-poms, and a coral bandhani dupatta with a gold border is worn with it.
The most worked outfit here by some distance. There is something different every few inches.
